Save the Date

Welcome back to our hilariously outdated wedding blog!

The random snail mail just hit mailboxes. Maybe you’re wondering exactly what sort of nonsense is brewing…

We’ve almost made it to ten years of marriage, which means the wedding weekend reunion is just around the corner… May 1, 2020!

Hey, we know you’ve got lots going on between the kids, the job, life in general. So of course, we want you to celebrate life with us on Anguilla, but please feel no pressure whatsoever to attend. We won’t cut you off completely if you can’t make it.

So, all that aside, here’s what we’re thinking for #TenYearsOneLove.

You and your husband / wife / boyfriend / girlfriend / BFF who likes to party fly down to join us in Anguilla sometime in the range of late April. We’re hosting a rollicking beach party on our actual anniversary, Friday, May 1. And then you fly out whenever the heck you want.

We’ll plan some other gatherings like dinners, happy hours, a beach day, a dance party at Elvis’ and those details will become clear early next year. The idea is that you’ll see the best of Anguilla at your leisure.

The island has rebuilt stronger than ever after Hurricane Irma in 2017. Some of our favorite places were lost forever, like the Pump House and the location of our wedding, Smokey’s at the Cove. But for every location lost, something new has sprung up around the corner.

If you think you might be interested in joining the most fun weekend ever to celebrate “one love” and our love for you, email and let us know. No hard RSVP here clearly, but if you even have a general interest we’d love to know.

We’ll be updating this website in the coming weeks and months with flight information (no need to book until early next year, in case you forgot it’s easiest to fly into St. Maarten), hotel recommendations, plus fun stuff to get you excited about traveling back to our home away from home.

We love you guys!

#FiveYearsOneLove

The wedding weekend reunion started out with a little party planning.

Ernie, our favorite event planner on the island, and Garvey, the man behind the Sunshine Shack, set us up for a beautiful night.

We were all having too much fun to stop and take many photos.

Epic night. Can't believe how time flies. We can't wait to do it all over again!
