Hi all, we're incredibly excited to see you in Anguilla in a couple weeks!  We have made some plans ahead of time, see below.  Don't feel like you have to participate in every reservation below, as we definitely want you to enjoy yourselves and relax as much as possible.  Let us know if you plan to skip anything, but no rush.  Some of these have 24 hour change policies and have a credit card confirmation.

Please do join us for the welcome event at Malliouhana though.  We booked the big patio below the main restaurant overlooking Meads Bay.  It will have an amazing sunset view!

AXA 2026 Lodging Options

We have pulled together a few hotel options for you, all right on Meads Bay, one of the best beaches in the world. The beach is spread out for plenty of privacy, but there still many hotels and restaurants along the beach.  The beach is flanked on one side by Malliouhana (see below) and the other side by Four Seasons. (Please don’t stay there.)  All of these hotels are right on the beach.

Meandering Meads Bay, Anguilla – Sweet Social Distancing

Option 1: Malliouhana – An amazing classic Anguilla hotel beautifully restored a few years ago. Incredible pool, bar, and restaurant.  A little more expensive but worth it if you want top level service across the board.  Or if you’re not a couple and willing to share a room with two queen beds, the cost becomes reasonable.  We will be staying here.  Contact Daniela at daniela.victoria@malliouhana.com for pricing and reservations.  https://malliouhana.com

Option 2: Meads Bay Beach Villas – This is a fun option if you’re traveling with a friend or family and want a little extra space but at a good price. All villas are two bedroom and two bath with a kitchen and living room in the middle. Each villa also has its own private plunge pool. The service is laid back, and there is a little café right on property. For reservations, you can submit via their website or Whatsapp 267-685-6495.

Option 3: Frangipani Hotel: Frangipani is a forever favorite with Anguilla regulars and in the past few years they’ve added even more to the property and upgraded the room décor. The pool is right on Meads Bay and the hotel also has one of everyone’s favorite restaurants, Straw Hat, right on property so you can get a delish breakfast, lunch or dinner there seven days a week.  We will probably have breakfast/brunch there one of the mornings at a minimum.  There is a wedding on property that weekend but they have a few rooms left.  Contact John Vasaka at john@frangipaniresort.com for pricing and reservations.

Option 4: Villa: Our friend Neil Freeman, who developed Tranquility Beach (which is unfortunately sold out for the weekend), has a company called Trophy Properties Caribbean.  If you have multiple people or couples or want to bring your family, Neil’s team can find you a villa with two or more bedrooms with a pool and a view. And maybe even a chef! Let us know and we can connect you with Neil and his team.

As an aside, Lisa on Neil’s team found us a great barrister and helped keep us out of Anguillian jail during Covid when we were caught “outside the bubble.” D.J. wore her husband’s wedding suit for our court appearance! Good times.

Celebration 2026

Why are we hosting a random party in Anguilla? Well, first of all, D.J. is celebrating the big 5-0 on February 19 but since things are a bit hectic here though high season… We thought June would be a perfect time to celebrate. Kids are out of school and before summer gets too crazy for all the families! Hence, June 13!

But mainly, we had such a good time with our Anguilla wedding weekend reunion in May of 2015 that we tried to do it again in May of 2020. But we all know how that went down. And after unsuccessfully getting our act together last year for the 15th anniversary, we figured why not combine the two. Double the celebration!

We know everyone is so busy but life is short and Anguilla is calling your name!

We will be sharing information in separate posts with flight and hotel information. As for ideal travel dates, totally up to you! We will likely get to Anguilla on Tuesday or Wednesday. The main event will be Saturday, June 13 with a welcome party on Friday, June 12. Sundays do tend to be the most fun day on the island, so…

Please text us with any questions. We hope to see you in on the island soon!

XO

Korinne & D.J.
